Heather is on her way to Costa Rica to meet her sister, Kimberly Thielen. Kimberly has been working at an orphanage in El Salvador and has just finished her time there. The two of them are meeting up for 10 days of I-don’t-know-what in Costa Rica.

I’ve been asking Heather what they have planned and she doesn’t seem to know. This isn’t like her. Before Heather had ever been, she could have led a tour of Italy - she was planning her trip there for so long that she all but memorized Let’s Go. She had an itenerary planned 3 years before she actually went. This time, however, she has no plans. She’s been reading a guidebook, but I haven’t heard any specifics. I’m not sure what this means, but it strikes me as odd. I’m sure that they’ll have an excellent time, no matter.
