Climbing Sand Rock
Published September 27th, 2004 in Rock ClimbingJeremy planned an overnight trip to Sand Rock Friday night. We arrived late Friday night and made camp. Saturday we climbed.
We set up three ropes that we rotated around some of Sand Rock’s easier cimbs throughout the day. Most of the day, we were on the Jaws block. At the end of the day, Jeremy trad led The Standard Route and taught Montie and I some mountaineering techniques.
At the end of the day, I worked on Jaws, but the fingers just weren’t up to it. I’m sore today, and looking forward to going back to try Jaws again.
