The Surprising Truth About Ugly Websites
March 20th, 2006Interesting article. I try to spend time explaining to clients that function and user experience should be the design process. It is possible for a site to be useful, usable, and ugly.
My CSS technique for increasing link area was recently included in the book Sams Teach Yourself CSS in 10 Minutes by Russ Weakley (proof below). I’m honored and excited to be included. If I ever have time to read the whole thing, I’ll post a review.

I am leaving for Colorado in about an hour. We’re spending a week in Summit County: 4 days at Copper, and 2 elsewhere (yet to be determined). While I’m away, enjoy the header image of Copper and imagine me, about 2 pixels tall, riding blissfully down the right side.
