Recent Climbing

I’ve been climbing twice in the last week or so, and am enjoying the spring weather (finally) a great deal. The first trip out, my form was good until halfway through my second climb, when my arms gave out. Weak! Had fun anway. We went to Leda (aka Leeda, aka Leida, aka Lleda, etc…) in Soddy Daisy, TN, which is where I do most of my climbing. We took a helmet cam video of Montie leading TJ’s Demise 5.9:
The second trip out—also to Leda—was just Montie and I, and my arms fared better. I led Walk By Me 5.7 and Montie followed for a warm-up. Then Montie led Old Foot 5.9, which gets scary around the 3rd bolt, but he did brilliantly. We each climbed that a couple times and were feeling tired, so we hit Speedway Boogie 5.7 twice each to finish the day. I took a few pictures.
Makes me extremely jealous that you guys are out climbing already. I’ve only been once this spring so far. Some sort of 5.7 or 5.8 by the looks of it, out at Post Falls, ID. Well have a great time there in TN and I will be down in the fall hopefully.
Thanks for dropping by Nathan. Sadly it’s already getting too hot for climbing. Spring is looking to be very short this year.
Look forward to you visiting.
